Privacy
RIOT Gifts is currently in beta. We use the information you submit to generate gift recommendations, improve recommendation quality, and operate the service.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in recipient descriptions. Beta session and feedback data may be retained so we can evaluate and improve how recommendations perform.
We record which gift options become visible, which retailer links you open, and optional feedback about fit. We use this alongside recommendation context to evaluate relevance; clicks alone do not automatically raise a product’s ranking.
We also collect usage metadata such as pages and steps visited, time spent, scroll depth, device and browser categories, loading times, and interaction or error events. A random identifier stored for your browser-tab session connects these events so we can distinguish usability problems from gaps in our gift collection. Analytics does not record your keystrokes, capture session replay, or copy recipient descriptions into usage events. Pending events may be stored in your tab until delivery.
During beta, we also evaluate structured summaries of recipient interests and gift preferences against the information you provide. These summaries may be reviewed to identify mistakes. Quiet evaluation does not change your gift recommendations.
We do not sell the personal information you enter into RIOT Gifts. Third-party services used to operate the product may process limited data on our behalf.
For questions about privacy or to request deletion of your information, contact Riot using our private request form. We collect the reply email and message you submit to handle your request.
For campaign measurement, we retain campaign, source, medium, and creative labels when present. Eligible affiliate links include a random journey reference so transaction reports can be matched to visits. The reference does not contain your recipient description or contact details.
